TEN PIN BOWLING – Thursday 27^th October

I have booked two lanes for us to have one game of ten pin bowling at the bowling alley in Cleethorpes (on Kings Road).  We’re booked to start at 6.30pm, so you would need to meet us there at 6.20pm, and you can be picked up from the bowling alley afterwards at 8.00pm.  It will cost £4.85 per person to bowl, payable on the night.  I have to confirm final numbers by next week, so I need to know if you want to go by next Tuesday, 18^th October, at the very latest.  Any problems with transport, please let me know and we’ll sort something out. 

·     CHRISTIAN AID QUIZ – Saturday 19^th November

This will be held at Church, from 5 to 7pm, and we’re hoping that the Yi-Ps will be able to help with some of the organising and refreshments, in addition to taking part in the quiz.  This date has yet to be finally confirmed, but try and keep it free.  Family and friends will also be more than welcome if they would like to come and take part, either individually or as part of a team.

 ·     PIZZA AND GAMES AT CHURCH – Saturday 26^th November

This will be from 6 – 8pm at Church, and we’ll have some games and activities and make pizzas for our supper.  More details to follow nearer the time!

 ·     CAROL SINGING IN THE COMMUNITY GARDEN (at the back of Swailes, the Butchers in Scartho, if you don’t know where it is) – Saturday 17^th December

As a church, we’re going to be singing carols (and probably eating mince pies!), so it would be great if some of you were able to come along with us.  Should be a lovely opportunity to join in with the community that we live in and have a good old carol sing!  Time and details to be confirmed!

·     CHILLI WITH DAVID AND INGA GREET – TUESDAY 20^th December

David and Inga have very kindly invited us to their house again, this time for chilli, although they have said that there will be an alternative for those who don’t like chilli.  It will be a lovely start to the Christmas holidays, and there may even be another opportunity to strut your stuff on ‘Just Dance’.  Again, times and more details will follow nearer the time.

·     YI-PS HOUSE GROUP – second and fourth Sunday of each month (see dates below)

A reminder about Yi-Ps House Group, which takes place at Kate’s House (20 Boundary Road, Scartho – tel: 231914), starting at 7.30pm and finishing between 8.30 and 9.00pm.   House Group is for those of you in school year 7 and above, and takes place twice a month, usually on the second and fourth Sunday in each month.  We usually have one a month that takes the form of a Bible Study, and the other where someone from the church comes and shares their testimony with us.  And whichever it is, there are always biscuits and hot choc and a good old chat.  Dates between now and Christmas are as follows: 23 October, 13 November, 27 November and 11 December (last one before Christmas).

 ·     Also, don’t forget that the Yi-Ps do the COFFEE AFTER THE MORNING SERVICE on the first Sunday in each month, and you’re always welcome to come and give us a hand, both setting up beforehand, and also serving the drinks and then clearing away afterwards

If you are in school from year 5, then you are more than welcome

to join us, the Yi-P’s, at any or all of the above events.  House group is for year 7 onwards.
