The Yi-P's are our Young People's Group, which is aimed at the children who already come to Sunday Club from school years 5-11.  We meet together regularly for social activities, over the last year we have had trips to the beach, the cinema and bowling alley. We have also had a barbecue at church as well as a number of pizza and DVD nights. We have also held another sleepover at church. At Christmas time we went Carol singing in the homes of a number of our older members and followed this up with our own Christmas dinner.As a group we are now on the coffee rota once a month and have also been on the flower arranging rota.  We have extended our Yi-Ps house-group to meeting twice monthly. One Sunday a month we have Bible study and one Sunday a month have a visiting member of the congregation to share their testimony. We also have a regular Yi-P's Breakfast on the first Sunday of each month at 9.30am in the Creche room.

 

 

Just so that you can plan ahead, the dates for future House Groups are below – put them in your diaries now!

   

Firstly, don’t forget that it’s  the next Yi-Ps House Group is ON SUNDAY (27th June), at Kate’s house – 20 Boundary Road, Scartho.  Kate’s phone number is 231914 in case you need it.  We start at 7.30pm and will be finished by 8.30pm so you can be picked up then or stay to chat up to 9.00pm. 

 

Secondly, we’re having a Pizza Night at my house (26 Southfield Avenue, Scartho  DN33 2NU) on Friday 9 July from 6.30 – 8.30pm. 

 

Thirdly, we’re going to have another Afternoon at the Beach in the Summer Holidays.  I’ll give you more details nearer the time, but it will be on the afternoon of Tuesday 24 August (probably 1-3pm, or something similar), so put the date on your calendars now!
